Installation and splicing of copper cables. Installation and splicing of fiber optic cables. Testing and troubleshooting copper. Testing and troubleshooting fiber optic cables. Repair and maintenance of copper cables. Repair and maintenance of fiber optic cable. Maintenance and repair of cable air pressure. Assist and work as a team member with other ET and construction groups. Driving university owned vehicles to job sites will be required for this position. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157. Perform other related functions as assigned.
