Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflightThis role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Produce safety and reliability analyses and deliverables in coordination with Blue Origin and NASA safety teams.Facilitate consistent processes and deliveries from the vehicle and operations elements.Produce integrated hazard reports between elements.Produce program reliability assessments to assist in identifying opportunities for risk reduction.Track metrics against safety and reliability products in support of design and certification milestones.Perform technical work and provide technical leadership of the highest caliber.Utilize good engineering and business judgement to ensure the most efficient and effective product is designed, manufactured, procured, tested, qualified, and delivered.Work independently towardlong-range objectives without appreciable direction and determine the technical objectives of assignments to develop approaches to solutions.Embody, promote, and coach the Blue Origin leadership principles.Work with multiple partners to define system-level interfaces that cross element boundaries.Provide leadership and guidance to the element teams.Minimum Qualifications:Expertise in the use of hazard and reliability analyses of complex systems, including requirements and system validation approaches.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with NASA Safety Review Panel (SRP) for human spaceflight.Experience with the Blue Origin New Sheppard or SLD Program, either MK1 or MK2.Experience operating on an Agile team.Experience with NASA certification of flight readiness process for a new system.Experience with NASA lunar, deep space, or planetary missions.Experience working on large complex programs with multiple pensation Range for:CO applicants is $110,938.00 - $155,312.85WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
