Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Senior Financial and Operations Analyst to our growing Modular Products division in Seattle, WA. You will be a senior individual contributor dedicated to our growing Modular Products team as a key partner with the business and leadership. This role will be responsible for the preparation and development of financial planning and analysis activities, project finance support and complex financial modeling to support decision-making. Additionally, this role will focus on targeted business operations and process improvement efforts to strengthen efficiency, data integrity, and cross functional alignment. Additional responsibilities include: _Project Operations and Finance_ + Contract and spend management processes. + Analyze financial and operational data insights. + Support project financial management discipline partnering with value stream team to create and maintain project/programu2011level estimates, budgets, forecasts, and postmortem analysis. + Conduct unit economic analysis for key products /modules + Track and Evaluate project performance drivers including cost exposure, change orders, cash flow timing, and revenue recognition. + Develop tools, dashboards, and workflows that improve data integrity, highlight process improvement opportunities, and enable teams to scale effectively. + Work with capital program manager and project manager to review and report on capital projects _Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting_ + Serve as the finance partner to operations and project teams, advising P&L performance, risks, and opportunities. + Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes. + Develop, prepare, and present financial reporting packages. + Analyze business level variances, trends, profitability drivers, and operational results to support decisionu2011making. + Deliver financial insights that support business objectives, cost reduction opportunities, and process alignment. + Partner with accounting on month-end close, accruals, and variance explanations. + Support business and program level cash forecast and management. + Produce and enhance monthly management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs _Financial Modeling_ + Support and manage forwardu2011looking financial models for scenario planning, investment cases, staffing plans, and operational decisions. + Conduct adu2011hoc analysis and develop financial models for business cases, investment evaluations and prioritization, and scenario planning. + Prepare financial models to support pricing, capacity planning, make-vs-buy decisions, and capital investments. _Collaborations & Communication_ + Facilitate crossu2011functional meetings with senior business leaders; serve as liaison between finance and operations to link unit and divisional strategies. + Build strong internal client relationships across teams, and act as a strong partner to Production, Supply Chain, Value Stream Execution and Procurement. + Partner with corporate and project finance, tax and insurance ensuring transparency and alignment. + Serve as backup to Business Operations teammates. + Coordinate with internal teams to meet deliverables. + Ensure clear communication of business updates, process changes, and project milestones What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry + Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. + 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, business operations, or project accounting or similar roles. + Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. + Strong analytical, communication, and relationship building skills. + Experience in construction or manufacturing strongly preferred. + Strong financial modeling skills (Excel, scenario modeling, variance analysis). + Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting platforms, dashboards, and operational/financial databases. + Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; SharePoint preferred). This is an exempt role. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
