RESPONSIBILITIES: + Lead & Innovate: Develop and lead the sourcing function within the Procurement COE, driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives. + Lead & Innovate Strategic Sourcing: Develop and lead the sourcing function within the Procurement COE, driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives. + Sourcing Expert: Own a specific category within the One Procurement Organization to deliver results. + Be a Digital Champion: Own and define the digital strategy, including Coupa CSO e-Sourcing Platform, AI and data analytics. Provide technical expertise to the One Procurement team. + Unlock Value Through Data: Use analytics and KPIs to identify opportunities, risks, optimize procurement performance, and uncover savings critical to the business. + Collaborate & Influence: Partner with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and adoption of e-Sourcing best practices. + Drive Process Excellence: Continuously improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. + Educate & Empower: Deliver strategic training on eAuction theory and u201cgo-to-marketu201d best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Required + Education: Bacheloru2019s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (Masteru2019s or certifications like CSCP/CPSM preferred). + Experience: 5+ years in procurement, ideally within Food & Beverage, CPG, or Manufacturing. + Skills: + Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities + Strong Excel skills + Excellent communication and relationship-building skills + Proficiency in Coupa or similar RFx sourcing software (Oracle a plus) + Excellent Sourcing skills with a proven track record + Mindset: Adaptable, curious, and ready to challenge the status quo. + Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. + Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. LOCATION: Austin, MN, Willmar, MN, Chicago, IL, or Bedminster, NJ Pay Range & Benefits: At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $93,400 - $130,800 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will ,depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
