About the role The Global HQ General Manager (GM) plays apivotal role in overseeing all facilities management and hospitality services,ensuring they adhere to the highest operational & hospitality standardsnecessary to support a corporate Global Headquarters. In this capacity, the GMis responsible for managing a diverse team of employees, manage vendorcontracts and the daily operational activities, focusing on enhancing thecustomer experience through individual well-being, boosting personalproductivity, and optimizing organizational effectiveness. This holisticapproach is essential for delivering exceptional service that meets the uniqueneeds of a global corporate venue. The Experience and Facilities team, under yourleadership, is tasked with managing services at a dynamic Global HQ. The GMu2019s primary objective is to ensure thatall operational activities, services and policies are aligned with clientrequirements and organizational goals, thereby fostering a seamless, efficientand dynamic workplace. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and siteleader, your extensive hospitality industry knowledge and expertise arecritical in shaping and executing strategic operational programs that elevateservice delivery. In this role, you will engage in thorough analysis andevaluation of current practices and subsequently create and implement robustoperational plans tailored to a specific client. Your efforts will drive thedelivery of industry-leading, best-in-class services that not only meet butexceed the expectations of our customers and clients, ensuring the GlobalHeadquarters functions at optimal performance levels. This role requires you to be onsite Monday-Fridayin Indianapolis, IN. For those not living in the Indianapolis, IN area, we willrequire relocation. What youu2019ll do Drives consistent, quality service through supervisionof CBRE employees and managed contracts supporting Experience Services as well as day-to-day FacilityOperations. This includes oversight andmanagement of Food & Beverage, Front Desk, Security, Housekeeping, andMaintenance Services contracts. Leads the team who oversees the operating budgetand makes recommendations on annual budgets; Ensures the team expedites all billingsfor business services are invoiced and billed as required. Ensures that savingsgoals are met and adhere to approved budgets Perform facility inspections and quality assuranceof all services following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgradeopportunities. Manage daily operations of workplace facilities,ensuring safety, maintenance, and functionality, coordinate repairs, maintenance,and upgrades of building systems and equipment and oversight of dailyoperations of Food & Beverage, Security, Janitorial, and Front Desk. Leads and prepares operating budget, variance reports,and opportunities to be incorporated into the capital plan. Manage vendor relationships and oversee contractsfor maintenance and service providers. Services include, but are not limited to:Security, Reception, Room Management, Meeting and Event Management, Community Programs,Meeting Supply Equipment, Food and Beverages Services, Company Store, Mail Services,Record Archiving, Office Supply Management, Furniture and Cable Management and SpaceReset Maintain positive client relationships and conductroutine meetings with client and additional meetings when needed on unresolved facilityissues. Manage environmental health and safety proceduresfor facilities in concert with the clientu2019s HSE team. Owns vendor relationships and invoicing procedures.Review price quotes for procuring parts, services, and labor for projects. Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance,repairs, and safety best practices. Promote sustainability practices within the workplacefacilities and implement programs aimed at reducing the environmental impact ofthe workplace. Other duties as assigned. What youu2019ll need Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or other relevant vocationaltraining preferred 5 years Related Experience (e.g. HospitalityManagement, Building Operations, Facilities Management) roles preferred. Prior hospitality experience in hotel/ boutiquehotel industry highly preferred. Prior leadership/ development of teams and customerrelationship management required. Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices,safety regulations, and hospitality services. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesin a dynamic environment. Financial/ budgetary experience. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $160,000 to $170,000 annual base salary plus 10% target bonus with some potential flexibility based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications and experience.
