We are looking for a dedicated Director Internal Compliance Reporting like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The Director Internal Compliance Reporting (Director) role is a leadership position supervising directly or indirectly compliance managers, specialists and/or coordinators and reporting directly to the Vice President Ethics and Compliance. You will be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day operations of the enterprise-wide Internal Compliance Reporting processes. You will ensure efficient and effective review, tracking, investigation and resolution of reported compliance concerns and promote consistent outcomes and corrective action. Job Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain effective policies, workflows and electronic systems to collect, track and analyze information submitted to Internal Compliance Reporting for timely identification and resolution of potential compliance or regulatory concerns (Reportable Issues), as defined in company policy. + Supervise colleagues within Internal Compliance Reporting for effective and efficient workflow processes and timely resolution of Reportable Issues. + Manage the day-to-day operations of the Internal Compliance Reporting functions consistent with the companyu2019s policies, procedures and protocols. + Collaborate effectively across the enterprise with stakeholders and subject matter experts as needed to assess, investigate and resolve Reportable Issues submitted to Internal Compliance Reporting to mitigate significant regulatory risk or systemic issues. + Monitor and ensure sufficiency of investigative actions and consistency in findings and corrective actions. + Ensure integrity and accuracy of data management systems used by Internal Compliance Reporting for tracking information, analytics, benchmarking and performance metrics. + Produce well-written, polished memoranda, reports, executive summaries, presentations and other business records for internal and external reporting and education and training initiatives. + Monitor, identify and escalate reported incidents, occurrences or concerns requiring prompt attention by senior management + Collaborate cross-functionally with the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting to external state or federal governmental agencies, as required by law + Develop and present effective education, training and resource materials to the facilities and business units related to the Internal Compliance Reporting and Ethics Line policies and procedures, healthcare regulatory compliance and external reporting obligations. + Develop and maintain highly efficient and effective workflow processes by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) agents, automated workflows, data analytics and other innovative technology into day-to-day operations, as available within the organization. + Develop targeted education and training for affiliated facilities, business units and corporate departments in conjunction with Ethics and Compliance Program Development + Develop and maintain statistical and analytical reports for periodic and ad hoc internal reporting. + Provide support and guidance to affiliated facilities and business units in identification and resolution of Reportable Issues submitted to Internal Compliance Reporting + Facilitate collaboration and serve as a liaison between enterprise subject matter experts and affiliated facilities or business units for the resolution of Reportable Issues submitted to Internal Compliance Reporting + Maintain strong knowledge base of current trends in healthcare regulatory compliance. Job Requirements: + Bachelor's degree is required + Masteru2019s degree in Healthcare Management, Health Sciences, RN, Business or Juris Doctor is preferred + 5+ years relevant experience is required + 5+ years management experience is required + 5+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, nursing, pharmacy, internal audit, or law or equivalent in a healthcare facility, organization or system or law firm and/or working knowledge and application of Federal and state healthcare laws and regulations including but not limited to Stark Laws, Anti-kickback Statute, EMTALA, CMP, False Claims Act, DEA regulations, etc. is preferred + Registered Nurse, Pharmacy Doctorate, Juris Doctorate, Certification in Healthcare Compliance or equivalent is preferred HCA Healthcare (Corporate), based in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a variety of corporate roles from business operations to administrative positions.
