Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Contractu2011tou2011Hire - Northwest Indianapolis - Onu2011Site - 37.5 Hours/Week Weu2019re partnering with a wellu2011established nonprofit organization on the northwest side of Indianapolis to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their Finance team. This position begins as a 90u2011day contract with strong potential to convert to fullu2011time. This role is fully onu2011site Mondayu2013Friday, working a 37.5u2011hour week with a 45u2011minute lunch. About the Role This position supports multiple internal departments and plays a key role in managing the organizationu2019s revenue and collections cycle. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will handle invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, donor/member record updates, and financeu2011related customer service across several programs. Key Responsibilities + Perform invoicing, payment posting, cash receipts, bank deposits, and all accounts receivable activity across multiple revenue streams. + Research and resolve discrepancies, monitor pastu2011due accounts, prepare collection correspondence, and communicate with delinquent account holders. + Maintain accurate donor, member, and program records; process refunds and adjustments; and support general financial data entry. + Assist with monthly billing statements, account status reporting, and reconciliation tasks within the organizationu2019s ERP system. + Process and reconcile fiscal agent reports and support periodic account reconciliations. + Provide customer service to donors, members, and internal staff while completing general office duties such as mail distribution, filing, and document management. Additional Details + Full onu2011site schedule (Mu2013F) until conversion to fullu2011time + Occasional evenings/weekends may be required + Role involves extended computer work and occasional lifting of file boxes Requirements Qualifications + High school diploma required; associate or bacheloru2019s degree in accounting preferred + 1+ year of experience in an accountingu2011related role + Experience with ERP, donor management, or AMS systems + Nonprofit or donoru2011facing experience preferred + Strong customer service and communication skills + High accuracy in data entry and strong math skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Experience with donor database or online giving platforms is a plus + Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
