This is a limited termposition under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director &Coordinators of Member Services. This individual will gain valuablerecreation and leadership experience by having active involvement inenhancing the member experience, recruitment and retention initiatives,rental equipment and merchandise management, campus recreation software,scheduling, budgeting, and data analysis. Assist in the management ofall aspects of Member Services, including staffing/payroll, lockerrentals, tours, and membership sales. Oversight of Member Service formsand recurring membership cancellations, which includes all memberinquiries and concerns. Assist with the overall management ofcomprehensive campus recreation software, Fusion. Participate in memberrecruitment fairs, presentations, and initiatives. Assist withestablishing and implementing short- and long-term goals, strategicinitiatives, policies, operating procedures, and assessments related tomember services. Assist in planning and support of upcoming MemberServices trainings. Key Job Responsibilities: Identifies, proposes, andimplements new or revised operational policies and procedures Assists inimplementing the staffing resource allocation plan including hiring,training, and supervision Prepares and monitors budgets and purchasesexpenditures as needed Coordinates logistics for events and programsDevelops targeted communication plans and materials based on establishedgoals Engages in the Rec Well professional internship developmentcurriculum, all staff meetings, divisional committees, and otherprofessional development responsibilities and opportunities.
