JOB REQUIREMENTS: GRAEF's continued growth has created an excitingopportunity for an experienced Stormwater / Water Resources Engineer tojoin our Milwaukee office. This position is ideal for a motivatedprofessional looking to take a lead role in the planning, design, andmanagement of stormwater and floodplain projects for public and privateclients throughout Wisconsin, with opportunities to support projectsacross the broader Midwest. The successful candidate will serve as atechnical and project leader on stormwater and water resources projects,collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, andcontribute to business development efforts within a growing andwell-established practice. Candidates must possess the following basicqualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or WaterResource Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing andmanaging a wide variety of site development or linear infrastructureprojects involving hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and BMP design.Experience with proposal writing, project interviews, clientinteractions and business development responsibilities. Knowledge ofstate and local stormwater, erosion control, and floodplain regulations.Experience permitting projects in the State of Wisconsin. ProfessionalEngineer registration in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain within 12months. Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic software such asHydroCAD, ICM, HEC-RAS and Hydraflow. Desired Additional Qualifications:Experience with implementing green infrastructure into stormwatermanagement. Experience with erosion control or best management practiceinspections. Experience performing municipal reviews. Accreditation as aCertified Floodplain Manager (CFM). Experience supporting grant fundedinfrastructure projects. Experience with Phase 1 ESA Preparation ofConditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revision(LOMR) through Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Typical jobduties may include: Prepare Stormwater Management Plans for public andprivate development projects. Perform municipal stormwater managementplan review. Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic models of storm watersystems or floodplain areas. Assist in identifying flood extents andpotential flood reduction measures. Assist in Environmental ImpactAnalysis Reports Coordinate with other GRAEF disciplines, clients, andconsultants. Mentor and support the technical development of juniorengineering staff. Assist with proposal development and strategicbusiness development pursuits Why GRAEF?
