JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist Associateyour goal is to work with stakeholders, including external suppliers, tominimize supply chain risk and support supply chain processes. You'llalso de-risk the supply base by driving creative solutions to temporaryand permanent supply chain problems. #LI-MD1 #LI-Hybrid You will do thisby: Creating or updating knowledge base documentation and trainingmaterials for End User Support Developing and monitoring projectschedules and ensuring projects meet deadlines Communicating withinternal customers regarding program progress Designing and executingsystems test plans to ensure fail-safe integration of a program into aproduction environment Highlighting areas needing resolution and drivingsolutions Evaluating current processes and systems for cost reductionand improvement and determines project priorities Creating reports forinternal and external customers from the applicable software which mayinclude identifying analytics as it relates to Supply Chain Researchingand implementing best practices for program management You're the kindof person who is/has: A self starter who likes to hit the ground runningThe desire to learn new systems and processes The above statements areintended only to describe the general nature of the job and should notbe construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. -Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management,Engineering or related field, OR equivalent education and experience Atleast three years or related supply chain experience Ability to thinkcreatively to solve complex problems Ability to prepare and presentcomplex technical information Strong interpersonal skills necessary tocommunicate and negotiate effectively with diverse groups of peoplePossesses knowledge of Supply Chain practices, principles and ethicsUnderstanding or experience working in ERP systems, preferably SAPStrong organizational and planning skills Demonstrated projectmanagement skills Fluent in English and primary language used in area ofresponsibility and/or location Reasonable accommodations may be made toenable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, providesinnovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get workdone.
