Job ID#215363 Pay Rate: $143 - $148/hr Job Description: u2022 Design, develop, integrate and test software for our end-user customers and businesses, primarily focused on cryptographic or software defined radio infrastructure software code bases. u2022 Work using embedded and real time systems development tools and environments u2022 Work with multi-disciplinary teams, such as with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test u2022 Work in an Agile software development environment u2022 Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. Basic Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer: u2022 Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or another STEM discipline with 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3 years or a PhD with 1 year of experience u2022 Proficient in C/C+u2022 Proficient in Object Oriented programming u2022 Proficient in all areas of the formal software lifecycle process from requirements to testing u2022 Experience integrating low-level firmware and software in complex real-time multi-threaded embedded applications u2022 Experience with developing and debugging embedded real-time systems. u2022 Familiarity with Static Analysis and Unit Testing u2022 Experience using Jira/Bitbucket/Git and the Agile software development process Preferred Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer: u2022 Experience with Software Defined Radios u2022 Experience with the Avionics Operating System u2022 Experience with Xilinx platforms (Zynq, Ultrascale+, and VERSAL) u2022 Experience with Yocto/Petalinux u2022 Experience with Communication Protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, Ethernet) u2022 Experience with TCP/IP and common network configurations u2022 Experience implementing cryptographic mechanisms using dedicated software libraries u2022 Experience with Rust u2022 Familiarity with Xilinx tools (Vitis, Vivado) u2022 Familiarity with HAIPE, OTNK, and/or IKE u2022 Familiarity with latest NSA Security Standards u2022 Familiarity with Linux kernel driver development/modifications u2022 Familiarity with assembly language u2022 Familiarity with bare metal embedded device drivers u2022 Familiarity with PowerPC architectures and peripherals u2022 Familiarity with VHDL/Verilog/FPGA u2022 Familiarity with IBM tools (Rhapsody, DOORS, Clearcase) u2022 Familiarity with Green Hills AdaMulti.
