This role involves real, hands-on work, learning transferable skills, and being trained alongside experienced staff members.This position is designed as a starting point, with opportunities to be cross-trained into driving roles and additional positions within the company and their sibling organization.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Job Duties (What the Work Actually Looks Like)- Safely moving large commercial items such as desks, medical tools, equipment, and furniture- Loading and unloading moving trucks with care and attention to safety- Working as part of a team to complete moves efficiently and professionally- Disassembling and reassembling furniture when needed- Learning proper techniques for protecting and securing high value items during transport- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and organized truck space- Interacting professionally with coworkers and clients during movesThis role is physically active, structured, and team-based. Employees are not rushed through training and are supported by experienced staff.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Schedule & Hiring Conditions- First-shift availability required- Employer makes a strong effort to avoid weekend work whenever possible- Full-time, consistent schedule- Driver's license preferred (especially for future cross-training into driving roles), but not required to start- Felonies accepted on a case-by-case basis, theft is an immediate disqualifier------------------------------------------------------------------------ Compensation & Growth- Starting pay: $15/hour- Opportunities for: - On-the-job training - Advancement into driving positions - Long-term career growth within the company
