Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Per Diem

Overview Hospital Name: Banner Rehabilitation Hospital Partnership with Select Medical Position: Patient Care Technician (PCT) Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Per Diem/ PRN 6:00 - 6:30 day or night shift Compensation: $24.00 per hour +shift diffs Requires at least ONE year of hospital PCT/ nursing assistant experience. We also offer our employee assistance program to part time employees. + Your Impact Matters: Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care Responsibilities + Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician performs routine tasks in patient care/assistance and documentation of care provided. + Transports patients to and from various treatment areas when necessary; assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs. + Performs services for the patient involving dressing, showering, bathing and oral feeding. + Answers patient lights and performs services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient. Participates in patient turning/repositioning, performs purposeful hourly rounds. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent + Requires hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or as an actively enrolled nursing student. + Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required.
