The FOH Team Member will work in collaboration with our Leadership Teamto drive service each day and inspire team members to work together andhold one another accountable. This position displays warmth andhospitality while supporting the full scope of all stations and performsall Front of House duties and responsibilities expertly and efficiently.The role could also include administrative work, opening or closingduties, or stepping in to needed roles in the restaurant as businessdemands. What you?ll do: Consistently support a culture of EnlightenedHospitality Maintain efficiency and grace with a sense of urgencythroughout service Use strong communication and listening skills toeffectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and all teammatesHave full understanding of all menu items and how each is properlyserved and/or packaged with the ability to complete multiple FOHstations, roles, responsibilities, and tasks Acknowledge and positivelyengage all guests at the expediting counter while managing guestexpectations Demonstrate an understanding of enlightened salesmanshipand seek opportunities to inform guests about additional offerings(pastry, breads, rotisserie chicken, and other to-go items) Have ageneral understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safetystandards Carry yourself with a warm, welcoming demeanor wheninteracting with guests and coworkers Derive pleasure from providinghospitality and exhibit excellent emotional self-awareness underpressure while maintaining a warm presence What we need from you: 1+years of experience in kitchens and/or service in a restaurantProblem-solving and delegation skills Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills, ideally in two or more languages Able toaccommodate a flexible schedule Able to stand for long periods of timeand lift 50 pounds What you?ll get from us: At Union Square HospitalityGroup, extending Enlightened Hospitality is at the heart of everythingwe do.
