Location/Division Specific Information Role is located on-site at least 4 days a week. Discover Impactful Work: As a Quality Data Solutions Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will help develop analytical solutions for the BioProduction Group's Quality Operations. A day in the Life: u2022 You will bring center-led platforms to newly acquired business areas to drive robust support models across the function. u2022 Reconcile business processes between organizational data practices. u2022 Maintain a positive attitude that encourages teamwork with peers, commercial, operations, and other support functions while driving significant change. u2022 Perform logic and analytical exception management to drive favorable business performance, initiating corrective actions as required. u2022 Recommend improvement opportunities using analysis, reporting, and process flow understanding. u2022 Use PPI Business systems to drive continuous improvement by initiating cross-functional projects with defined deliverables to improve quality performance. u2022 Support analysis for related functions as necessary. u2022 Build presentations to report out to different levels of management. Keys to Success: Education u2022 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry. Experience u2022 2-4 years of experience in data analytics or an equivalent combination of education and experience. u2022 Exceptional problem-solving and root cause analysis skills u2022 Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex datasets and deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency. u2022 Solid understanding of how quality and execution systems interact u2022 Broad range of experiences across different supply chain technical environments. u2022 ERP & Quality systems experience in Trackwise, SAP, Oracle, or other Systems/Platforms Knowledge, Skills, Abilities u2022 Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, PowerBI Modeling, DAX. Databricks or equivalent experience a plus. u2022 Experience in using data and process optimization and automation to inspire change. u2022 Ability to effectively work with dispersed teams, maintaining clear communication and addressing blocking issues. u2022 Communication skills for engaging with business partners, the field, and corporate personnel. u2022 Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of initiatives and drive execution. u2022 Agile, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, transitioning from project to project as needed. u2022 Process improvement (PPI, lean, six sigma, etc.) preferred. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,800.00u2013$113,675.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
