Urgent Care APP Fellow - Las Vegas

Job Description: When you join us, youu2019ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of u201chelping people live the healthiest lives possible.u201d About this role: The Advanced Practice Provider Urgent Care Fellowship ( is our selective program for recent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant graduates with an interest in furthering their education in the field of Urgent Care. Our 12-month program includes clinical time under the guidance of preceptors, rotations through multiple specialties, didactic lectures, and opportunities to participate in journal clubs and research/QI projects. Fellows will rotate through multiple Urgent Care clinics while developing skills in problem-focused point of care of acute and acute-on-chronic medical problems. The Urgent Care Fellowship is limited to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who have graduated from an accredited school within the 12 months prior to program start date, and, if applicable, have less than nine months working experience as an APP at the time of program start. The Fellowship is one year in length, with an additional two years after graduation as an independent provider, for a total commitment of three years, which must be completed in Southern Nevada. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
