We are looking for full-time internship candidates for theu00a0Fallu00a02025.u00a0Fallu00a0interns participate in a 12-week program starting lateu00a0Augustu00a0throughu00a0mid-December. Start and end dates will be determined on a case-by-case basis to accommodate academic calendars. Interns are expected to worku00a0at minimum of 15 hours per weeku00a0Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. u2013 5 p.m.u00a0The hours will be flexible to accommodate course schedules.u00a0FINN Partners provides a flexible working environment, with the option to be fully remote or hybrid within our U.S. offices. Internships are paid and can be used to earn course credit for necessary undergraduate requirements. Education PR Interns will: u00b7 Support organizations at the intersection of education, policy, philanthropy and business u00b7 Support effective client engagements: learning the ropes of account management u00b7 Write compelling content: research and produce strong written content u00b7 Engage the media: develop and pitch story ideas that secure coverage for our clients u00b7 Run point on social: support social media content development, community engagement, and campaign management u00b7 Curate media reports and analyses, including in-depth analysis on key issues related to clients Your key responsibilities will include: u00b7 Monitor and compile daily or weekly media clips for the team and clients u00b7 Research key client issues and develop landscape analysis, media insights and thought leadership opportunities u00b7 Draft written materials such as press releases and advisories, contributed articles, briefing documents, etc. u00b7 Support media relations, including the creation of media lists, pitches, and interview prep materials u00b7 Support monthly reporting to clients across activities, KPIs and other aspects of scopes u00b7 Account management activities such project trackers, assembling agendas and action items, and learning about budget and forecasts u00b7 General account support, including internal and client calls as required and other tasks as assigned u00b7 Support the creation of new business proposals, as requested Role Specific Skills/Attributes: u00b7 Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides. Prior experience with Meltwater, Muck Rack, Canva, and other programs a plus u00b7 Proficient in AP style as well as writing for social media u00b7 Strong writing and editing skills or experience writing for a variety of platforms, voices and tone u00b7 Deep knowledge of social media tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, X or Blue Sky, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook u00b7 Keen interest in a career in public relations, journalism, public affairs, or communications and marketing u00b7 Interest and basic knowledge of US education system (early childhood, K-12, higher education) u00b7 Ability to maintain self-management on projects and tasks, especially in remote environments u00b7 Self-motivated, friendly and eager to learn Powered by JazzHR
