Our crews work on interstates, public roads, airport runways, city streets, and private properties, helping to build safer, more reliable roadways throughout the region.SummaryWe are currently seeking a Project Supervisor to join our Florence, KY team. This role plays a key leadership part in overseeing the day-to-day operations of pavement marking and maintenance projects while supporting crew performance, safety, and overall jobsite success.The Project Supervisor is a hands-on, working leader who coordinates personnel, equipment, materials, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position maintains accountability for productivity, quality, and safety expectations, including compliance with DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies.Success in this role requires strong field experience, sound judgment, and clear communication with crews, Project Managers, inspectors, and customers. The Project Supervisor promotes a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability while helping drive continuous improvement across multiple projects and job sites. This position may involve travel based on project needs.Key areas of responsibility•Daily production reporting to DOT/Transportation Cabinet as well as material certifications, etc.•Maintain accurate records for use in semi-monthly billing and materials application process in accounting software.•Assist, as needed, with any pay discrepancies between Company and customer.•Coordinate material orders, logistics of material, and delivery with Materials Coordinator•General supervision of staff/crews - proper documentation of employee relations issues, including assistance with hiring and separation of staff•Monitors labor usage and identifies delays, manpower shortages or productivity issues•Perform routine site visits to verify work complies with plans, specifications, and quality standards•Execute assignments laid out by the Project Manager and ensure completion of the daily assignments.•Effectively communicate with company Project Managers, state inspectors and general contractors on scheduling, needs, and quantities of materials•Daily/weekly evaluation of each crews’ performance for progress and efficiency via daily production reports and ExakTime reporting•Responsible for timely accident / incident reporting by immediately notifying HR, Project Manager, and Fleet Manager and completing all required documentation in accordance with company procedures.•Perform regular Quality Control and Safety Inspections and reporting•Performs and coordinates “logging” of routes prior to start of resurfacing projects•Effectively operate and drive any vehicles/equipment that your crew routinely uses•Oversee the initial job setup and preparation prior to permanently marking or maintaining any surfaces•Must be able to read engineers estimates, plans, blueprints•Moderate to Proficient use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) is required•Effectively communicate with employees, Team Leaders and Project Managers, be a liaison between management and our Team Leaders, effective problem resolution between crews•Principal source of training and knowledge for Team Leaders•Actively strives to maintain a safe working environment. Understand and values the importance of following all Safety Regulations such as DOT Hours of Service guidelines•Understands and values accurate Job Cost Reporting.•Utilizes MS Office, internal websites and Vista reporting softwareCore Competencies•Field Leadership•Safety & Risk Management•Team Communication•Planning & Scheduling•Quality Control•Decision Making under Pressure•Accountability & ProfessionalismQualifications•High School Diploma/GED •Minimum of 5 years of related experience•Proficient experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)•Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project completion•Class A or B CDL preferred •Valid drivers licenses with a safe driving record history•Industry trainings/certifications preferred: Reasonable Suspicion Training, OSHA, WZTC, Flagger, First Aid/CPR, etc.•Strong understanding of industry best practices, safety procedures, and jobsite quality standards•Leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, delegate tasks, and hold team members accountable•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications•Strong organizational and communication skills•Strong desire for quality and efficient work•Prior experience leading crews •Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds•Ability to work irregular hours in various climates and weather conditionsJob Type: Full-timeCompensation: $70,000-$75,000 Pay range shown reflects the expected range for this position.
