Must attain NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician License within one (1) year of employment Minimum Experience: Experience for one year as a technician or other hospital position requiring knowledge of transcription of medication orders, and/or medical terminology and pharmacology, and pharmacy distribution systems may be substituted. Satisfactory completion of an approved technician training program or passage of one before the completion of the probationary period. Experience in a health care environment preferred. Familiarity with computers preferred. Knowledge of distribution systems relating to the movement of materials and people preferred. Requirements: Reference Check Must attain NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician License within one (1) year of employment.
