Truck Dispatcher

This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job duties - Schedule and coordinate the dispatch of vehicles to appropriate locations in accordance with customer requests, utilizing telephone, email, and dispatch management systems. - Communicate directly with customers to address inquiries, resolve service-related concerns, and process requests for transportation or logistics support. - Relay detailed work orders, instructions, and critical information to drivers and field personnel, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through telephone, email, or dispatch platforms. - Receive, review, and prepare work orders to facilitate efficient service delivery. - Record, organize, and maintain comprehensive files and records of customer requests, services provided, operational charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch-related documentation. - Coordinate and arrange necessary repairs and maintenance of vehicles or equipment to ensure uninterrupted service and adherence to established schedules. - Analyze and determine required types and quantities of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel in alignment with work orders, project requirements, and operational specifications. - Provide personnel with guidance and updates regarding traffic conditions, construction zones, accidents, congestion, weather events, and other potential hazards impacting schedules and service delivery
