Hiring: Property Manager About the Property Manager Position Full-time Exempt Deadline: Rolling The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight. This role requires sound judgment, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. The Property Manager works closely with tenants, vendors, contractors, municipalities, and internal teams, while advancing PUSHu2019s mission and values through professional, accountable property stewardship. Key Responsibilities + Manage daily operations of rental properties, including rent collection, lease administration, and maintenance coordination + Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, concerns, and service requests + Lead all resident communications related to rent, past-due balances, maintenance, and property updates, including payment arrangements and legal eviction processes when necessary + Conduct regular property inspections, including move-in and move-out inspections, to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance + Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate maintenance work, repairs, and contractor services + Market vacant units, screen applicants, and manage leasing processes from start to finish + Maintain accurate and timely records related to income, expenses, leases, contracts, and legal documentation + Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and report on property financial performance in collaboration with the Finance Team and Executive Leadership + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including landlord-tenant and fair housing laws + Supervise and support staff as part of the Extended Leadership Team, modeling accountability, organization, and professionalism What Weu2019re Looking For This role is best suited for someone who bringsexperience, steadiness, and follow-through. Required Qualifications + Minimum ofthree (3) years of experienceas a Property Manager or in a closely related role + High school diploma or equivalent (Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred) + Strong working knowledge of property management operations, leasing, and tenant relations + Solid understanding of landlord-tenant law, fair housing requirements, and regulatory compliance + Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills + Ability to manage competing priorities independently and consistently meet deadlines + Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred (but not required) + Certifications such as Tax Credit Services Certification, Fair Housing Law Certification, Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Manager of Housing (CMH), or Community Health Worker (CHW)(Must be willing to pursue certification if not already obtained) + Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense monitoring + Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience What This Role Requires Day-to-Day + A high level of organization and attention to detail + Comfort making decisions, taking initiative, and seeing work through + Professional resilienceu2014able to stay grounded, solutions-focused, and consistent under pressure + A collaborative approach paired with clear ownership and accountability Compensation & Structure + Salary Range:$55,000u2013$65,000 annually(Starting salary determined by a combination of education, experience, and skill level) + Full-time, salaried exempt position + Supervisory role and member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) Submission Instructions Inte res ted ?
