Job DescriptionMaintenance TechnicianBedfordRequisition ID:51168If you are a current employee click here to apply.Job DescriptionThis role is night shift, 6pm-6am We offer 12-hour, rotational schedules.Pay: $29.20/hr (includes $2/hr shift differential)ROLE PURPOSE: Install, repair, improve, and maintain complex machinery and facilities to support the plant goals of safety, quality and productivity.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment to minimize downtime and to provide a safe work environmentPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment to improve reliability and to reduce unscheduled downtimeAssist in the specification of new equipment to facilitate proper specification and stall new facility and production equipment according to schedule and assist in making the new equipment perform to its intended purpose to maintain company profitability and/or competitive advantageDevelop, recommend, and implement improvements to facilities and equipment to improve safety quality, and productivityRepair or upgrade existing machine components to maintain a supply of replacement partsDocument activities on repairs, preventive maintenance, parts requests, and project work via the CMMS in SAP and Shift reports to ensure the timely and effective support of Production as well as Regulatory and ISO compliance.Follow all Safety, Food Safety and Quality guidelines while performing daily functionsQualificationsMust have a general maintenance work background with primary strength in electricalProven experience in the following areas with regard to trouble shooting industrial control systems:AC/DC motors (trouble shooting, maintenance and theory of operations)AC/DC drives (trouble shooting, maintenance and theory of operations)Motor starters (theory of operations)Speed feedback - namely encoders and tachometers (trouble shooting and theory of operations)Transducers (Sensors) - namely for tension, pressure, temperature and level (trouble shooting, calibration and theory of operations)Programmable Controllers (PLCs) - (Trouble shooting and theory of operations)Control signals - Familiarity with common signal types and how they are utilized in industrial controlsProficiency in reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and ladder logic/control diagrams is essentialSkilled in industrial electrical/electronic, general welding, general machining, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with a strong emphasis on electrical skill set.Able to work overtime, weekends, and possible off-shiftDemonstrated good performance in current roleBenefits and Perks 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid elder care Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance#SAPROFInformation at a GlanceWHY WORK AT SEALED AIR?It is our responsibility to leverage what we have to affect positive and meaningful change for our communities and planet using Sealed Air's global resources and expertise.Corporate sustainability - it's about improving the lives of people around the world by addressing pressing needs in the communities where we and our customers operate.Customer Success - meeting our customers' needs.
