Field Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities/Duties: + Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor. + Maintain active communication with the client facility and pharmacy staff. + Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter). + Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date). + Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing. + Replace potentially expiring inventory. + Restock depleted inventory. + Monthly audits (cycle count). + Provide reports for the facility. + Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor. Education, Knowledge, and Skills: + Important: Must be local to the Omaha area. + Licensed Pharmacy Technician required. + Previous pharmacy experience required. (one-year experience in long-term care preferred). + Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred. + Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems. + Good organizational skills and detail oriented. + Basic math and analytical skills. + Ability to physically perform light lifting. + A valid driveru2019s license, car insurance and reliable transportation required. + Willing to drive long distances in the State of Nebraska. Physical Requirements: + Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, bend, and crouch frequently. + Ability to occasionally perform light lifting (up to 20 pounds) and repetitious physical activity. + Repetitive computer and phone use. + Work is performed in a pharmacy and office environment.
