Project Manager I - Building AutomationLocation: Boise, ID, United StatesCategory: Project ManagementDescriptionPosition PurposeAs a LONG Project Manager I, your role will encompass overseeing theentire lifespan of projects acquired within the BuildingAutomation/Temperature Controls business division, with assistance fromeither a Construction Manager or a Senior Project Manager. The essentialfunctions of this position include but are not limited to:Gather and maintain equipment submittals and other project documents asrequired.Ensure that all project contract documentation is up to date andaccurate, including project scope, plans, specifications, and otherproject-related documents.View and analyze job reports utilizing company reporting tools.Capable of recognizing changes to the scope of work, scheduling, andother job site factors that impact LONG productivity and profitability.Monitor the progress of costs incurred on all assigned projects.Recognize when costs exceed estimates and notify the appropriatemanager.Recognize when additional work is required or when project schedulechanges occur that affect workforce resources or job plete assigned projects according to proposal, drawings, andspecifications, cost estimates, customer expectations, and timeframes byeffectively managing and executing contractual obligations in concertwith LONG project management procedures.Assure engineering has the necessary information to prepare submittalsand installation drawings.Order equipment based on approved submittals in time to meetinstallation requirements.Direct, prepare, and maintain project schedules using MS Projectsoftware or other approved platform and submit same to the mechanicalcontractor (to establish TC labor requirements) and to the engineeringmanager and/ or Technician supervisorManager andor Electrician Manageror supervisor (for use in workforce forecasting).Review the financial performance of specific jobs.Participate in work-in-progress meetings and prepare specificinformation regarding the status of all costs and schedules forprojects.Schedule personnel, equipment, subcontracting, and material to meetproject requirements and schedules within the estimated costs.[](employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals withdisabilities.PI282036425
