Position Overview: As an A&P Technician at Signature Aviation, you will play an integral part in the high level of service that we provide for our guests. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, overhauling, upgrading, and cleaning aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, aircraft manufacturer recommendations, and company policies. Technicians at all levels maintain detailed records of work conducted, inspections performed, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Technical Tasks: Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks, including engine runs, taxi operations, engine and flight control rigging, and troubleshooting aircraft systems. u2022 Documentation: Read and interpret technical data, make work order entries, and maintain detailed records. u2022 Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety rules, regulations, and company procedures. u2022 Supervision and Management (level dependent): Supervise and mentor junior technicians, manage multiple projects and crews, and communicate effectively with customers and senior leadership. Qualifications: u2022 Education: o Tech I and II: Associateu2019s degree or equivalent. o Tech III: Masteru2019s degree or equivalent with significant experience. u2022 Experience: Relevant field experience varies by level, from zero to ten+ years. o Tech I u2013 Zero to 2 yearsu2019 experience o Tech II u2013 2 to 10 yearsu2019 experience o Tech III u2013 10+ yearsu2019 experience u2022 Licenses: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required for all levels. u2022 Skills: o All levels: Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively. o Tech II, III and IV: Manage projects and teams. Additional Requirements: u2022 Must pass background checks, drug screens, and be insurable by the company. u2022 Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
