The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. Key job responsibilities u2022 Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts. u2022 Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material. u2022 Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. u2022 Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems. u2022 Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually. u2022 Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers. u2022 Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices. u2022 Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself. u2022 Learn new processes. u2022 Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts. u2022 Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures. Additional requirements u2022 Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day. u2022 Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position. A day in the life The Amazon Leo team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join us as a Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.Basic Qualifications- high school diploma or equivalent - 2+ years of with Excel experience - Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach - Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications- Experience in data analysis and problem solving Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
