Sr IT Auditor

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join our dynamic team in Arlington, Texas. This role involves conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, improving financial processes, and identifying areas for operational enhancement. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform detailed audits of IT systems and financial processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards. u2022 Evaluate and enhance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. u2022 Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations for improvement. u2022 Conduct periodic reviews of internal controls to ensure their effectiveness. u2022 Assist in the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance measures. u2022 Participate in scheduled travel assignments, approximately 20%, to perform on-site audits. u2022 Utilize financial systems such as J.D. Edwards to analyze data and support audit activities. u2022 Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain audit accuracy. u2022 Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members to encourage detail-oriented growth. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 3 years' experience in auditing or general ledger management. u2022 Certification such as CPA or CIA, or progress towards certification. u2022 Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. u2022 Proficiency in financial systems, particularly J.D. Edwards. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
