Description Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their team in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this role, you will support attorneys in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and collection cases, assisting clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Location: Springfield, MA Role: Paralegal Comp Package: $50,000 - $60,000 (DOE) + amazing benefits Schedule: Fully in office but can be remote if you are sick, appointments, weather, etc. Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm Responsibilities: + Prepare pleadings and other legal documents including complaints, default filings, and various court submissions under attorney supervision. + Coordinate with courts, clients, and sheriffu2019s departments to track and advance case progress. + Conduct factual research to support negotiations and the resolution of legal disputes. + Manage and maintain a detailed calendar of deadlines, hearings, and court appearances for active matters. + Organize, update, and securely maintain confidential client files and case information. + Review, log, and distribute all incoming mail and correspondence on a daily basis.
