Description: Lockheed Martinu2019s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Electronics Maintenance Technician to join the SOF GLSS team in Lexington, KY. The candidate will perform duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups. What You Will Be Doing As the Electronics Maintenance Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: u2022 Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks u2022 Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks u2022 Replace components, wire circuits, and repair simple electronic equipment u2022 Take test readings using common instruments such as: u2022 Digital multi-meters u2022 Signal generators u2022 Semiconductor testers u2022 Curve tracers u2022 Oscilloscopes u2022 Work under close supervision u2022 Receive technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician u2022 Work is checked frequently for accuracy u2022 Basic technical knowledge of electronics and circuitry u2022 Ability to follow detailed instructions u2022 Familiarity with common electronic instruments and testing equipment u2022 Ability to work under close supervision and receive technical guidance. #mfcvets Why Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to thinkbig, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Basic Qualifications: Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the typical minimums required for this job which are: 3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, and power tools. and applicable test equipment. Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals. Desired Skills: Soldering experience. Prior harness fabrication experience. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
