Job Summary Your CareerWe are seeking a visionary Senior Principal Product Strategy Manager to spearhead the product strategy, development, and deployment of the most advanced B2B Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system.This role reports to the VP, IT GTM Product Management within the CIO organization. This role is pivotal in driving cultural transformation within a 2000-person sales organization, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to revolutionize how we sell at Scale.The ideal candidate will lead the strategic introduction of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency, drive process improvements, and support the growth of both SMB and Enterprise customers.Your ImpactKey Responsibilities:Shape the Future of Sales at Scale: Senior Principal Product Strategy Manager for CPQ at Palo Alto NetworksLead the creation of a comprehensive, long-term vision for the CPQ system that aligns with company-wide objectives and fosters cultural changeDevelop a detailed product roadmap that ensures the timely execution of strategic initiatives, balancing immediate business needs with long-term goalsPartner with functional leaders to define and maintain Go-To-Market (GTM) application roadmaps, focusing on automation, scalability, and data accuracyLead the development of a comprehensive GTM data strategy, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of core datasets for future growth initiativesEnsure the product remains adaptable by anticipating industry trends and Seller needs.Cultivate relationships across all organizational levels, communicating progress and managing expectations effectivelyIdentify system and process gaps across the organization and advocate for advanced technological solutions that drive ROI and operational efficiencyLeverage data and analytics to inform product decisions and continuously optimize performanceLead cross-functional product teams and engineering teams to execute the product vision. Foster collaboration and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with measurable value to the enterpriseLead the integration and continuous delivery of IT systems, ensuring consistency, rapid deployment, and alignment with project management methodologiesOversee the development, maintenance, and integration of Salesforce and other critical internal applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales team needsPartner with the Enablement team to provide ongoing user training, ensuring the sales organization can fully leverage the CPQ systemu2019s capabilitiesStay ahead of industry trends by identifying and recommending technologies that enable scalability and maintain competitive differentiation Qualifications Your ExperienceMust have-Must have 12+ years of experience with 4+ years post-MBA with a minimum of 2 years in management consulting, or top-tier tech strategy role in GTM space.Strong experience in Go-To-Market systems with a proven track record of managing and delivering high-impact technology projects in B2B SaaS environmentsExpertise in managing Quote-to-Cash applications in the Salesforce Ecosystem, with hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle (end-to-end) Salesforce CPQ implementation.Expertise in the SaaS and/or Enterprise software industry is preferred - Knowledge of AI/ Gen-AI solutions and B2B GTM is a plusStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to to pitch product strategy to Executive leadership(including C-Suite)Local in SF Bay AreaPreferred-Experience in program management and overseeing large-scale transformationsDemonstrated ability to partner with geographically distributed teams and external vendors to deliver impactful and scalable solutionsExpertise in software project management, including gathering requirements, test planning, change management, and developing detailed functional plansGreat teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things doneA proactive self-starter who excels in fast-paced, high-growth environments Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
