Primarily responsible for overseeing student mental health needs, the activities and staff that provide individual, group and family therapy, and monitoring students with mental illness and/or receiving psychotropic medications. The Regional Treatment/Clinical Director reports to the Executive Program Director. In some instances, directly supervises designated staff. 1. Designs and reviews special management programs and presents these programs to the multidisciplinary team, treatment committee and/or group living staff.2. Reviews and approves individual treatment plans and progress reports for all youth. Special attention given to youth with mental health issues and receiving psychotropic medication. 3. Works closely with Case Management and the Clinical Team regarding the mental health needs of students, assisting in the behavior management of students with mental illness or mental issues.4. Develops treatment program schedules and calendars with the approval of the Clinical Director, Director of Student Services or Program Director (determined by site). Reviews/Coordinates scheduling of on-site therapeutic services (groups).5. Coordinates contracted services (psychological, psychiatric, specialized treatment and community programs).6. Assures the continuity of care for students by making appropriate mental health referrals and providing necessary information and documentation for transition to receiving units, facilities or agencies. 7. Monitors, evaluates and corrects the daily performance of all program staff. Provides on-going clinical supervision to the therapeutic personnel regarding treatment and gender-specific issues.8. Ensures individual, group and family services along with the documentation of these services is incompliance with state licensing requirements. 9. Oversees and evaluates individual, group, family and case management services provided by the therapeutic personnel.10. Reviews and analyzes current program elements, provides suggestions and direction to the Site Management Committee and/or Program Director to ensure the highest standards are maintained to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and to ensure the program remains in compliance with agency licensing and Rite of Passage policies and procedures.11. Audits student files (all sites). Enters student information in the JJIS database in accordance with the position security level and operating procedures. 12. Acts as a hearing officer at some sites in regards to student grievances and allegations of abuse and neglect 13. Reviews students on or removed from suicide watch and provides crisis intervention and de-briefings.14. Works closely with the psychiatrist regarding emergency and non-emergency transfer for students experiencing acute mental health crisis. Coordinates hospitalization of students if necessary. 15. Adheres to the facility and daily schedules.16. Responsible for hiring, evaluations, commendations, reprimands and dismissals regarding supervised staff.17. Reviews, revises and approves time and attendance in the system for supervised staff, if applicable. 18. Assists the Clinical Director, Director of Student Services, or Program Director (determined by site) with developing supervised staff by creating, initiating and implementing training programs and action plans. 19. Ensures the safety, health and welfare of staff and students at all times.20. Provides encouragement, guidance and resources to the staff and students when needed.21. Models and ensures all program norms are upheld without compromise.22. Acts as a positive role model and mentor for both staff and students.23. Treats others with respect, confronts negative behavior and supports confrontation.24. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner, provides management with required reports and advises of any problematic situations.25. Complies with and implements the Rite of Passage Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals/handbooks. Provides input and submits proposals for the revision of existing and/or new policies and procedures.26. Assists with and presents proposals to correct identified deficiencies and quality improvement efforts.27. Attends and participates in all required meetings. Chairs multidisciplinary team meetings for students with mental health issues and attends all other required meetings. Meetings include site meetings (Treatment Committee, Site Management and Multidisciplinary) and other meetings with Client Managers, Case Managers, Therapeutic Managers, Education Representatives, Substance Abuse Counselors and others specified in the individual treatment plan. 28. Commits to attending and tracking all training and staff development classes in order to ensure sufficient hours of training for this position and supervised staff are completed on an annual basis. Notifies the supervisor if annual training hours are deficient.29. Other duties as assigned, verbally or in written form. Requires 90% Travel. To be considered you should: 1. Masters Degree in Social Work or Human Services Required. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) preferred.2. Current State licensure - LCSW, LMFT or LPC along with CACIII preferred. 3. Five years of clinical and administrative experience in a hospital or residential setting preferred. 4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects.5. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required. 6. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driveru2019s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.7. Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures.8. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. 9. Ability to perform work with little or no supervision. 10. Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects. 11. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.12. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. 13. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. 14. Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week with the possibility of varied schedule.15. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.16. Must have excellent organization and time management skills.17. Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships.18. Ability to provide exemplary customer service to all employees and outside constituents.19. Ability to function independently and as a member of a team in a multi-task environment.20. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions. 21.
