RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. (evaluated by hiring manager for level hiring for) MAIII - requires graduate of accredited MA program with minimum of 3 yearsu2019 current medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting OR demonstrated competencies of MA III (evaluated by hiring manager) with minimum 5 yearsu2019 current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting MAIV - Only through promotional career ladder internally. Minimum of two years as an MAIII at a Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies for promotion to MA IV. Graduate of an accredited MA program and registered/certified by a third-party credential body.
