Senior Accountant - Audit

We are located in scenic downtown West Palm Beach, FL. CDL is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Audit team of highly motivated professionals. As an Audit Staff Accountant, you will have the opportunity to experience differentindustryprocesses, client organizations, and their business environments. An ideal candidate is an organized and dependable self-starter who enjoys diverse work product. RESPONSIBILITIES : Assists in planning the audit, reviewing internal control systems and drafting audit programs. Builds strong working relationships with clients to gather information and resolve problems. Tests internal control systems and determines the reasonableness of recorded assets, liabilities, and results of operations. Works as an effective team member to successfully complete engagements including: preparing financial statements, researching and analyzing financial reports/statements, establishing work schedules, developing audit programs and customized procedures. Prepares reports, management letters, and other communications for detailed review by a Supervisor, Manager or Shareholder. Demonstrates the ability to recognize non-routine audit problems and significant accounting issues in clients’ operations; researches and develops recommendations for solutions with appropriate personnel. Demonstrates knowledge of the public accounting profession and its relationship to the public and other third parties. JOB QUALIFICATIONS 1 to 4 years audit experience in a public accounting firm. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge ofProsystemsfx Engagement software a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree a plus. A current CPA license or currently studying to sit for the Florida CPA exam. Strong client interaction skills. Excellent analytical, technical and auditing skills, including proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB rulesandstandards. Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
