Responsibilities:Perform a variety of assignments including, but not limited to staffing, organizational and employee development, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and rewards & recognitionEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsAssist with performance appraisal, behavior correction, and employee developmentParticipate in the sourcing, interviewing, and selection of talent Participate in the development and implementation of strong employee and leadership development programs across the organizationConduct job market research, pay surveys, and compensation assessmentsAdvise senior leadership team on total compensation (salary/wage/benefits), and recommend changes/updatesEnsure a positive employee work environment through strong relationships at all levels of the organizationRepresent the company as a visible, approachable, and professional HR practitioner; foster employee engagement and address and/or escalate issues to the next level of management for assisted resolutionWork closely with managers and supervisors to address and resolve employee relations concerns in a timely, consistent, and responsive mannerRespond to complex questions and concerns from employees regarding human resources programs and services; resolve questions, and concerns and work with management regarding sensitive or potential issuesManage and coordinate performance management processes Ensure job descriptions and career paths are evaluated and updated regularlyConduct exit interviews and provide reports and analysis for program development and modificationImplement and communicate HR proceduresCoordinate employee benefits and assistance programs, as well as handle related inquiriesAssist with corporate compliance programs including, but not limited to EEO and OSHA reporting requirementsComplete other projects and responsibilities as assignedBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or related fieldMinimum of three years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practicesBe able to work independently as well as be part of a teamExperience responding to and resolving employee questions and concernsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with full HR life cycle competencies including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, training, and development. Ability to develop and provide training on various HR topics (i.e., Performance Management, Effective Interviewing Skills, Respect in the Workplace, etc.)Experience in interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable Federal & State laws, rules, and regulationsProficient Computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications, (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), HRIS (i.e. Dayforce), ATS (i.e., ICIMs), etc.Professional Skills Required:Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with employees and managementExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contactStrong experience providing consultation and advice on a variety of human resources issuesGood project management, organizational, analytical, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing prioritiesContinually identify opportunities for improvement and implementation of best practices throughout all aspects of the HR life cycle.Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic working environment.Demonstrates empathy and strong interpersonal communicationHigh level of professionalism and integrityThis position is a regular full-time on-site position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.At Minco, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees.
