This position is responsible for the management of material and resources planning and flow for our molding, extrusion and assembly product lines. Join us!Forecasting and demand management to drive the planning in a both MTS and MTO environmentManage compliance to stock targets and implement corrective actions when out of alignmentFacilitate crisp and concise meeting interactions that are effective at defining the constraints, identifying root cause, identifying mitigation needed, and telling the story accuratelyDrive mitigation for unresolvable capacity constraints (ie: headcount / equipment / raw material) & drive action item closure with cross functional stakeholders (Ops, Engineering, Procurement, Product Mgmt)Maintain relevant performance metrics; create and drive appropriate action plans to manage performance to themUnderstand root causes related to deltas; drive cross functional alignment and collaboration across the entire site for metric performance/operational excellenceCreates and maintains valid Capacity Requirements plan, supporting the Production ScheduleEvaluates scheduling priorities needed to support fluctuating demands in sales for the product set that they oversee; including collaboration cross functionally as requiredWorks with Buyers, Operations, Engineering, intercompany sites and Management to provide solutions to problems in meeting the Production Plan in order to ensure that the Production Schedule is achievedReview and respond to expedites working with the customer service team and operations teamsCoordinate closely with the Waterford production team to fulfill production plan as scheduledCross train on other product lines as needed& act as backup for other supply chain operatorsManage other duties and projects as assignedBS. degree or equivalent experience; degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations a plus5 - 7 years of production planningSix-Sigma, APICS, CSCP, CPIM or similar certification a plusUnderstanding of the basic principles and operations of ERP systems and the integration of company functions provided by an ERP system - SAP a plusUnderstanding and evaluation of the contents and calculations on the MRP (supply vs. demand) display or report; including how safety stock influences calculations of projected on hand balances in MRPUnderstanding of the distinction of independent and dependent demand to ERPBasic knowledge of capacity requirements planning (CRP); Detailed CRP knowledge (work centers, labor and machines, routings, setup times, run, standards and move times) a plusWorking / intermediate skills related to data extraction, data analysis and use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordExcellent problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraintsAbility to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with cross functional teams and drive appropriate actionsFlexible schedule when necessary (Early Morning or Later night meetings as needed)Your success will be measured by:Obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in workAccountability for results and respectfully/openly expresses ideas and viewpointsLeverages technical knowledge, process knowledge and tools to drive continuous improvementNever satisfied with the status quoTeam-oriented mindsetOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $79,332 - 121,642.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
