Starting Pay: $16.00/HourSetting up, operating, and tending equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes. Food products may include, but are not limited to, various types of candies and fudges. Mixing and cooking candy ingredients by following, modifying, or formulating recipes to produce product of specified flavor, texture, and colorInspecting supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure adherence to Six Flags New England standardsAbility to work in a “kitchen” environmentSupporting and promoting all park cleanliness for kitchen areas and equipmentRemoving of garbage and transporting to approved disposal areasAssisting in other areas of the Retail DepartmentEnforcing all Six Flags New England policiesPerforming other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New EnglandStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safetyPassion and experience in creating delicious treats and sweets for our guestsAbility to work with a teamAbility to move quickly and be on feet for long periods of timeSense of funWilling to work in a fast-paced work environment Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAble to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageAble to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc. 18 years old or older
