ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Cage Manager at the Casino’s Cage, Countroom, and Card Control Departments.Support the Cage Manager with formulating and implementing the Cage’s policies and procedures on proper handling of cash, chips and negotiable instruments.Interact with Accounting on the audit of the Cage, Countroom and Card Control Departments.Support Cage Manager with ordering Gaming Chips when requested and Card Control Decks when needed.Participate in training and development of staff skills, utilizing coaching and mentoringMaintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.Adhere to all Gaming Laws and Guidelines.Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Controller and VP and General Manager.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years of effective and successful management experience in a casino and/or card roomMust have good project management skills; provide strong leadership and direction, prioritize project tasks, meet project deadlines, and effectively communicate with personnel, co-workers, and subordinates.Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings.
