Inventory Control ClerkLocation: Lockport, IL 60441Schedule: Full Time; OnsiteWhat You’ll Do:Take ownership of the stockroom; maintain a clean and organized space; be responsible for all material coming into or going out of the stockroom.Pull kits for jobs; notify supervisor of discrepancies.Verify part number and quantity of incoming materials; inspect if required; input accurate receipt data to ERP system to ensure inventory integrity.Perform physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:Ability to use (or learn to use) weight scales and reel counters.Ability to use (or learn to use) calipers and micrometers and other measuring devices.Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.Strong attention to detail.Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.Ability to meet quality expectations and follow safety guidelines.What You'll Bring:High school diploma, GED, and/or technical diploma and/or military technical training.Minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.Experience using ERP software a plus (SAP preferred).Physical Requirements:Good vision.Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, up to 8 hours.Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift 30 pounds.Ability to use step stools or ladders.What's in it for You:Medical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsCompetitive Base CompensationSIMPLE IRA 3% matching planAccrued PTO PlanCareer advancement opportunities in an expanding companyUSD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
