u003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eOur client, a $4B rapidly growing durable goods manufacturing company with a 200+ manufacturing facility, has an immediate direct hire opening near Newton Iowa.u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003e4 day work weeks, 5pm -3:30am Monday - Thursdayu003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eu003cbru003eWhat you’ll do: u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eIn partnership with plant and safety management, plan, lead and participate in plant safety meetings u003cbru003eImplement, inspect, and maintain job site and office SDS manuals.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eTrain employees in SDS proceduresu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProvide and ensure compliance with information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditionsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eEnsures the implementation, administration, and maintenance of all facility specific EHS programsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAssist and participate in all EHS continuous improvements initiatives relating to OSHA, EPA, and best management practicesu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eDetermine corrective or preventative measures, assign responsibility, and follow up to ensure the corrective measures have been implementedu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eConduct periodic plant safety inspections to ensure safety procedures are in place, accurate and up to dateu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProvide recommendations and assistance to safety and plant management with respect to plant hazards, employee training, new/safe equipment operation, and safe material or substance utilizationu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eEnsure SDS program is maintained, and all necessary personnel is trained on the procedures.
