With design, production and test facilities in both the United States and Japan, sales offices in Las Vegas, Houston, London and Tokyo, Nikkiso Cryo offers prompt, total support for all of our customers worldwide.Working within the NCI Operations department and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Pump Technician performs tasks associated with the assembly and testing of cryogenic pumps. The Pump Technician also monitors production operations to identify dangerous and hazardous conditions.Hydro-statically test parts in accordance with provided prints and the ITP/PTPAssemble parts and components in accordance with prints and drawingsAssemble in-tank/ex-tank electrical assemblies according to provided drawingsDisassemble pumps/components per scheduleAssembled and install required instrumentation per Engineers designPrepare vacuum bagging for components and prepare pumps and components for shipmentPrepare kits for shipment per bill of materialMaintain a clean work area and strict supply disciplineNotify supervisor or Operations Manager of shop supply requirementsMaintain and utilize all company issued safety equipmentPerform monthly strap and sling safety inspectionsReport any safety concerns immediatelyAssist in identifying issues and make suggested improvementsCritical thinking and good decision-making skillsGood mechanical skills with the ability to do fine assemblyAbility to read drawings and follow instructionsExcellent attention to detail and good organizational abilitiesDirect industry experience preferredCompliance with preventative maintenance systems for all facility vehicles, equipment, and toolsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentProven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detailQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent GED is requiredEquivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered1 + years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
