Your responsibilities include:Performs initial diagnostic steps toidentifythe nature of the problem, following established scripts and procedures.Provides basic technicalassistanceand support for common hardware and software issues related to C2ISR systems.Assistsusers with account lockouts, password resets, and basic connectivity checks.Escalates complex or unresolved issues to higher-tier support personnel, providing clear and concise problem descriptions.Contributes tomaintainingthe help desk knowledge base by documentingfrequentlyasked questions and basic resolutions.Gathers information from users to accurately document reported issues and system behavior.Ensures adherence toestablishedhelp desk policies and procedures for incident logging and resolution.Supporting operations 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (24/7/365) - shift workUtilize the followingRole Specific Tools: Service Desk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy); knowledge base repositories; remote desktop support tools (Microsoft Remote Desktop, TeamViewer); collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Outlook); PC diagnostic utilities; network connectivity testers; audio visual troubleshooting tools;inventory and asset management systems; documentation templates for procedures and trouble logs.Required qualifications:Previousexperience asaHelp Desk Technician Tier 1or similar rolesupporting a DoD customer at the CCMDlevelMinimum of2years’experiencewith a BS/BA or0years’ experience with an MS/MAor6years’ experience withno degree.A current, active DoD security clearanceat the TS/SCI levelUS citizenship isrequiredDoD 8140 role for WRC: 411; Element: IT; Work Role: Technical Support Specialist; Proficiency Level: Basic / Ability to obtainDesiredQualifications:DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.Work Environment:On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presencerequiredfor equipment management and asset trackingTravel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites forlogisticscoordination and facility assessments Why Join Us? Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
