In this position, you will focus on building the automation tools and capabilities to evaluate key risk controls, and other critical technology risk management functions. Delivering a cloud-capable and production-ready suite of tools to proactively assess risks and identify gaps will be central to the role.What You'll Contribute Day to Day:Accelerate the assessment of the various information technology risks that the business faces in its operations to promote consistent and timely remediation of technological risksStreamline documenting potential gaps and/or inconsistencies and making sound recommendations, resulting in time savings from having to conduct manual assessmentsConduct consistent, repeatable, and dependable risk assessments over large information technology development projects, ensuring strong risk management and alignmentYou'll Be A Great Fit If You Have:5+ years of solutioning, coding, and building large-scale solutions on AWS CloudHands-on experience with AWS compute and database servicesApp Development using Java-related technologies - Java, Spring, and REST API DevelopmentExperienced in ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, UI design, and DB technologies will be an advantage - AWS certification is a plusFully hands-on with application builds and deploys using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools like JenkinsCore, artifactory, GitHub, etcHands-on experience in container-based development (Docker)Strategic thinking and critical problem-solving skills, technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skillsExperience in implementing Micro Services Architecture, building/deploying highly automated, scalable, and maintainable infrastructureCuriosity and desire to support innovative business units in understanding and managing the risk of emerging technologies.Ability to research quickly and get up to speed on new initiatives and technologies, apply existing processes and controls to new situations, and mitigate new types oftechnology risk.Willingness to assess technological risks in areas of the firm that are on the cutting edge, supporting the newest product developments and outside-of-the-box activities with a dynamic can-do attitudeA love of solving complex problems, comfort with ambiguous situations, and your ability to innovate ways to mitigate risk using your analytical and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of information technology processes and controls, and a good understanding of risk and quality control and assurance functionsFamiliarity with emerging technology, cloud-based platforms, microservices, and infrastructure security best practices.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet tight time commitmentsAbility to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with Information Technology and Business personnel to design and assist in the execution of appropriate controls design and monitoringreacHIRE is changing the trajectory for individuals in the workplace by partnering with forward-thinking companies. reacHIRE believes a career break shouldn't be a career breaker.
