Job Description

Site Managers are responsible for overseeing field operations associated with building automation projects. During the construction phase of a project, the Site Manager is an RBT representative to the general contractor as well as other trades. In between project deployments, the Site Manager will assist with new project estimating and systems engineering.Team LeadershipProvide technical assistance to RBT commissioning teamServes as a technical point of contact for customers and tradesAssist with prioritizing and assigning installation tasks to the tradesParticipate in commissioning meetingsDevelop customer and trade relationshipsInstrumentation and Electrical DesignAssist with developing instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings & bid specificationsResearch instrumentation (TTs, PTs, FTs, actuators, etc.) and propose appropriate devices for projectInspect instrument and electrical panel installation to verify completionIdentify installation discrepanciesCommissioning MethodologyUnderstanding of customer demonstrations and acceptance testingUnderstanding of point-to-point loop checks, functional tests, and status of the site Cx plan for all systemsParticipate in field related design modification meetingsProject ManagementAssist with developing procurement log and installation tracking sheetsReceive, verify, and handoff equipment shipped to the siteSupport MEP subcontractorsUnderstanding of project scopeUnderstands RBT field quality control proceduresGenerates meaningful daily site logs to convey site conditions and progressCommissioning schedule coordinationTechnical Degree in a related fieldPrevious Project Management or Site Management experienceExperience with Low Voltage InstallationExperience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customersMicrosoft Office (Word and Excel)Microsoft ProjectBasic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plusOnsite commissioning experience is a plusCompetitive Base Salary: $90,000-$120,000, depending on experiencePerformance Bonuses:Bonus structure designed to reward resultsTravel Perks:Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignmentsFull Benefits Package:Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement Ready:401(k) with company matchTime Off:Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, andunlimited personal timeGrow With Us:Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support
