This role manages the end-to-end deployment of surveillance systems in remote, high-security environments, supporting federal protection and situationalawarenessmissions. The Project Manager will ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security requirements, and contract deliverables while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across constructionand integration scopes.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Lifecycle ManagementManage the full project lifecycle from Notice to Proceed through project closeoutDevelop andmaintaindetailed project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk management plansLead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activitiesDeliver regular project briefings, status updates, and milestone reviewsServe as the primary point of contact for the General Contractor and key stakeholdersFederal Compliance & Contract OversightEnsure adherence to federal contract requirements, scope, and performance milestonesInterpret and execute workin accordance withfederal RFPs, SOWs, and technical specificationsSupport federal reporting, documentation, audits, and closeout requirementsReview and manage change ordersin accordance withFederal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Ensure secure handling of sensitive project data and controlled informationConstruction & Technical ExecutionOversee construction activities related to surveillance infrastructure deploymentsManage installation of pole-mounted security cameras, IR illuminators, fiber, and power systemsCoordinate site assessments,logistics, and mobilization for remote locationsEnsure proper system testing, commissioning, and operational acceptanceOversee integration with Video Management Systems (VMS) and command-and-control platformsStakeholder & Team CoordinationCoordinate with federal field offices, engineers, inspectors, IT/security teams, and subcontractorsManage internal staff, subcontractors, vendors, andlogisticsprovidersoperatingin regionsMonitor contractor performance, safety, and quality in challenging environmentsFoster clear, professional communication across all project stakeholdersRisk, Safety & Environmental ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks related to security,logistics, weather, and terrainEnsure compliance with federal safety standards and construction requirementsCoordinate environmental, cultural, and land-use compliance activitiesProactively address issuesimpactingschedule, cost, or operational readinessFinancial & Contract ManagementManage project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasts under federal contractsTrack expenditures, deliverables, and invoicing complianceSupport contract modifications, extensions, and closeout activitiesSpecialized Experience Required:7+ years of project management experience in infrastructure, security systems, or federal projectsDemonstrated experience delivering projects for U.S. federal government agenciesStrong understanding of CCTV, IP video, networking, and low-voltage systemsAbility to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and federal contract documentsAbility to complete KCI Project Management CertificationSpecialized Experience Preferred:PMP certificationExperience supporting DHS, CBP, DoD, or other federal security programsExperience managing projects in remote, high-risk, or austere environmentsKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and compliance processesFamiliarity with Salesforce (SiteTracker) and/or Primavera P6 (EPPM)Work EnvironmentCombination of office, field, and remote border locationsFrequent travelrequired, including rugged terrain and harsh weather conditionsEducation and/or Skills Required: • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 4 years of related professional experience, or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.• Participation in continuing education and professional development programs.• Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.• Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams.• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.• Deep technical knowledge in the specific field of the project.• Expertise in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.• Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.• Strong negotiation skills to manage multiple contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively. • Strong comprehension of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.Education and/or Work Experience Preferred: • Master’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry)Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:• Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start date.Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
