Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage and oversee accounting operations for a small company located near East Syracuse. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle diverse bookkeeping responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial transactions, payroll, and billing processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Process payroll efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. u2022 Handle AIA billing, including preparation and submission of invoices. u2022 Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions. u2022 Oversee general ledger entries and adjustments to ensure proper accounting. u2022 Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reports. u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. u2022 Assist in preparing financial statements and other required documentation. u2022 Address any discrepancies or issues promptly, ensuring smooth financial operations.
