Job Title: Automotive Electrical Installation Technician Type: Temporary to Permanent/Full-time Pay: $18.00/hr Type: Temporary to Permanent A progressive, stable manufacturer who designs and manufactures industry-leading specialty vehicles and related aftermarket parts and services is seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate need for Automotive Electrical Installers. This role will install and troubleshoot 12V 110V and 3-phase electrical system components. Install aftermarket and OEM vehicle lighting and accessories. This opportunity is in Winter Park, FL. What you will do: u2022 Must be able to perform QC repair and rework. u2022 Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English. u2022 Close attention to detail u2022 Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision. u2022 Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled per assigned department. u2022 Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. u2022 Meet minimum standards of safety per assigned department. u2022 Meet minimum standards of housekeeping per assigned department. u2022 Meet all QA and QC standards for each task per assigned department. u2022 Be compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook. What You Bring to the Job: u2022 High school diploma or general education degree (GED). u2022 Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. u2022 Ability to read and understand assembly prints, pick lists, sales orders, and shop orders, and other written or verbal instructions presented in English. u2022 Ability to read English and Metric tape measures and use measuring devices. u2022 Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. u2022 Must have good knowledge of shop math. u2022 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. u2022 Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards. u2022 Be trained in Hazardous Materials Handling Operations with an annual refresher course.
