As a Grant Analyst Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: u2022 Oversee pre-award activities, including grant proposal development, funding opportunity analysis, and submission of proposals to public and governmental funders. u2022 Write, prepare, and submit comprehensive grant proposals, ensuring all required documentation and attachments are included. u2022 Manage post-award functions, including financial reporting, compliance tracking, and supporting project personnel with grant-related tasks. u2022 Collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure budgets align with funder policies and spending guidelines. u2022 Monitor compliance with grant terms, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to funder regulations. u2022 Provide timely information and guidance to project directors and financial managers to ensure proper fund utilization and regulatory compliance. u2022 Draft funding agreements, contracts, and other related documents for grant projects in coordination with project partners. u2022 Track expenditures for assigned projects, communicating with funders when necessary and securing approvals for budget adjustments or project scope changes. u2022 Maintain a grants management calendar to monitor deadlines for reporting, compliance, and future submissions. u2022 Serve as a liaison with program officers, funders, and project partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Requirements The ideal Grant Analyst candidate will have: u2022 A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in finance or a related field. u2022 Possess at least 3 years of experience in corporate, organizational, or foundation fundraising. u2022 Demonstrate a proven ability to secure gift commitments and develop strong relationships with corporations and foundations. u2022 Exhibit proficiency in preparing accurate and detailed written reports and presentations. u2022 Be familiar with Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word. u2022 Have experience with donor databases, such as Raiseru2019s Edge or similar platforms. u2022 Showcase knowledge of accounting functions, budgeting processes, and financial reporting. u2022 Display expertise in CRM systems and grant management tools.
