The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Spaceu2019s Mission Solutions business area is seeking a talented and dedicated Systems Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) in the Foxtrot Program Area. This is a level 3, early to mid career role where successful Applicants will: Typically possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience having received a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of degree Selected candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance prior to start. Basic Qualifications: - Current DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE) - Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly - 3+years of handsu2011on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering (infrastructureu2011asu2011code, CI/CD, automation). - Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift). - Strong Linux experience u2013 daily administration of RedHat, Ubuntu, or similar distributions, Bash/Python scripting, package management, system hardening, and troubleshooting. - Excellent problemu2011solving skills and the ability to work independently and in crossu2011functional teams - Strong documentation skillsu2014producing design docs, test plans, operating instructions, and postu2011mortem reports. Desired Skills: - 5+years of progressive DevSecOps or systemsu2011engineer experience, especially in defense, aerospace, or missionu2011critical domains. - Experience with GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Flux) and service mesh security (Istio, Linkerd). - Handsu2011on with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and pipeline hardening. - Experience with Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or similar stacks - Experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 controls - Experience in software development (Java, Go, .NET) to better understand codeu2011level security. - Experience in agile team leadership or customer interaction #LMSpaceDevOps #SpaceSecurity Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
