Job Description This person will own the end-to-end hardware lifecycle, with a focus on customer initializations. Proactively identifies and champions initiatives that optimize data center build, install, networking, provisioning, and component replacement processes. Ensures seamless hardware deployment and management across diverse clusters. Serves as an in-and-out specialist known for rethinking and automating workflows, advocating for precise KPIs, and driving measurable improvements in cost-efficiency, including ambitious goals for reducing dollar-to-megawatt ratios. Responsibilities u2022 Own and optimize all Oracle hardware operations, including in Data Centeru2019s globally. u2022 Lead and automate processes for hardware build, installation, networking, provisioning, and repair (e.g., hard drive replacement) across all clusters. u2022 Oversee customer infrastructure onboarding, ensuring efficient initialization for large customers and partners. u2022 Monitor, measure, and drive improvements in hardware-related KPIs, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and cost reduction (e.g., dollar-to-megawatt ratio). u2022 Identify opportunities to rethink and modernize established processes, champion automation and workflow optimization. u2022 Act as a mentor and technical authority for regional leads, embedding best practices and deep operational insight. u2022 Collaborate cross-functionally to establish and refine metrics, streamline interfaces, and ensure scalable, resilient hardware support. u2022 Drive innovation and continuous improvement, challenging the status quo while ensuring world-class reliability and scalability. Must-Have Qualifications u2022 Deep operational understanding of hardware infrastructure, including hyperscale and GPU environments. u2022 Technical leadership experience in large-scale or distributed organizations. u2022 Proven ability to manage and optimize multiple hardware operations simultaneously. u2022 Experience driving cost and power efficiency, with demonstrated success influencing metrics such as dollar-to-megawatt ratios. u2022 Strong automation skills and familiarity with defining, selecting, and executing data-driven KPIs. u2022 Expertise in hardware build, networking, provisioning, component replacement, and cluster management. u2022 Preferred Skills u2022 Hands-on programming or scripting experience (Java, Python, or C++) u2022 Familiarity with concepts of data durability, storage, and hyperscale infrastructure. u2022 Innovative, entrepreneurial approach to process transformation and automation. u2022 Advanced analytics and operations management experience. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
