Land Development Engineer

Job Title: Land Development EngineerJob Description We are currently seeking a Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. This role involves all aspects of projects from conceptual planning to detailed design and construction documentation. Responsibilities + Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting. + Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to complete projects effectively. + Complete tasks and assignments within the time frames and budgets set for each project. + Develop engineering solutions using design standards and document these solutions accurately. + Ensure project development aligns with budget constraints and design criteria. + Conduct QA/QC processes to meet client requirements before project delivery. + Attend meetings with clients to provide project status updates. + Mentor less experienced staff to enhance their development. Essential Skills + Civil engineering expertise in land development. + Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Experience in stormwater design, grading, and site development. + Strong project management skills with at least 4 years of experience. + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar. + Professional Engineer (PE) License. + 8 to 12 years of related experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design. + Desire and ability to manage and lead less experienced staff. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Focus on building client relationships.
